Congratulations to Alan Powell and crew on winning the first race of the season! This crew has been through a lot to become a very competitive car this season. Also congratulations to Mat Thomas and the S&M Racing crew on your runner-up.
I think I can speak for everyone that we had a really great time running at Texas Raceway last Friday night. The fans were great and the facility was awesome as always. A special thank you goes out to Cindi, Bubba, and the whole TXR crew for having us and keeping the show moving swiftly.
Also, thank you to Kacy for being out race coordinator and photographer. She is the one who makes it all go smoothly by keeping us all informed of where we are and who we are going to run in the next round. She also keys the results in to save us some time after each race. She volunteers to do this service for us, so please take a minute to say thanks next time you see her.
Winner: Alan Powell and crew
Runner-up: Mat Thomas (and lucky T-shirt give-away winner)
Mat and Alan showing their sportsmanship.
