Dwayne Pebworth_____________________.134______4.837______145.93

Alan Eaves___________________________.103______4.778______150.23
Alan Powell makes the perfect pass. Runs dead on the 4.700 with a good reaction time. Alan Eaves is starting to get comfortable in his truck and picks it up to an impressive 4.77.

Darrell Reid___________________________.021_____4.755_______149.05
Darrell has the reaction time advantage but leaves the window open a little too far at the finish line. Mat squeezes his way through killing 5mph at the stripe.

David Baldwin__________________________.059____4.650_____142.73
Alan Powell____________________________BROKE
David gets a bye run due to the fuel pump wire on Alan’s car becoming disconnected. This was sure to be a great race!
Finals
Mat Thomas____________________________.019_____4.711____150.10
David Baldwin__________________________.074_____4.672____137.96
Mat takes the holeshot advantage all the way to the winner’s circle. The margin of victory was very close. David fought hard to try and get the win.
Congratulations to Mat Thomas and crew for your win. A lot of you may not know, but they had a mountain of obstacles to overcome just to make the race. I certainly appreciate Paul Smith coming to the track for OTS and to help Mat since I was unable to be there in person. Also congrats to David Baldwin and his crew for the runner-up finish. Great job to both teams.
A special thanks goes out to Texas Raceway, all the TXR staff, and Kacy who were instrumental in making the event successful. The track had some major traction. The staff members and Kacy helped keep all of the racers informed and running on schedule.
Our next scheduled event is August 24, 2012 at Texas Raceway in Kennedale, TX. Our first pass is scheduled for 7pm.
